We
are authoritive for the .gov.za domain. In our zone file we
delegate domains to name servers. If the owner of a domain decides to update the domain

be their choice to inform you about their intentions. |

What is the difference between a Host name and a Domain name? |
|
A
host name is the logical name assigned to a computer.
On the Web, most hosts are named "www"; for example, www.mydepartment.gov.za.
If a site is composed of several hosts, they might be given
different names such as
"support.mydepartment.gov.za" and "sales.mydepartment.gov.za".
"support" and "sales" are the host names, "mydepartment" is
a sub-domain name.
"gov" is the 2nd level domain and "za" is the top-level domain
name. |
